Spiritual Swimming and creative Automated Home Business

Swimming against the current----again continued! Or "How your spiritual life is enhanced by not "going with the flow".

As we've already talked about, all areas of our life seem to be improved or enhanced by not just floating through life, but, rather, identifying where the current is and swimming against it. In the spiritual life this is perhaps the hardest to do because the currents are often not very clear.

Of course there are more obvious currents like lying (easy) vs telling the truth (hard when you're going to have a personal negative consequence), but not so obvious in many of the day to day interpersonal issues we face.

Of course it's easy to say that it's always right to pray (hard) rather than not (easy)----but what about "trust". That's hard to do too but often not easy to figure out what it looks like. Nevertheless, learning to trust God is the most important way to "swim against the current". It always seems easier to just grab the bull by the horns and worry about it like the world depended on me.

Here's where we the have the exception and the paradox. When one is truly "in the Spirit", the goal IS to go with the flow and not to fight against the stream. So much can be said about that I won't go into detail now.

I will bring us back to earth here though since the focus of these comments is how this all ties into a successful home business and, ideally, an automated home business. When you are growing in all ways, in body and mind and spirit, you are not only at your most creative but also at your most ethical. Both are crucial to building an automated home business that is going to last.

Swimming against the Current, Emotional Health and Automated Home Business Success

Since the average person seems to take on more and more stress--- and then bury it in their psyche, I say that swimming against the current is effective stress reduction. What does that mean? How does that affect your ability to have a successful home business? What does that have to do with Wholistic Health?

Stress reduction means doing a series of consistent activities that decrease the effects of HARMFUL STRESS on your life. Stress is only bad if it is harmful to you. Of course this can be a bit hard to measure! But in this short column let's just admit that most of us do suffer from harmful stress, the stuff that creates heart attacks and cancer.

Swimming against the current here would mean learning the tecniques (which I and others teach) of diffusing the effects of the stress on your emotions, discovering the physical things to do that decrease stress and learning how the intersection of spiritual disciplines can decrease stress.

The more creative you are, the more effective you will be in creating an automated home business. And you will be much more resiliant in adversity.

The less harmful stress you are experiencing, the more healthy you will be. Harmful stress creates much of the dis-ease we suffer in our day.

So, swim against the current. Learn the secrets of stress reduction.

Blessings.

Swimming Against the Current and Automated Home Business options

Swimming against the current continued. On our last disussion I reviewed the overall concept of swimming against the current and what that might look like in the physical, the emotional, the spiritual and the financial realm. In all cases the requirement was for action to be taken, something more than just "going with the flow".

The exicting thing about "swimming upstream" is that it is kind of like an adventure. You encounter things and circumstances that make you grow. Indeed, that is what "the journey" is all about and why it is at least as important as the destination. When you "go with the flow", the journey is much less interesting and not stimulating.

Swimming upstream in the physical realm is at its foundation, when applied to the concept of wholistic health, building the foundation of health. This means the right exercise with the right nutrition over the course of your life. As you swim upstream in this way, you will become so much more energized for the rest of the details of your life. Your body becomes, as it were, the carriage for the big things in your soul and psyche!

But this is always in the context of the other crucial areas of your life---emotional, spiritual, financial.

Remember that the foundation of financial health is a second income that has the potential to replace your first income. An automated home income is your best second income.

"Swimming against the current" and starting your Automated Home Business

"Going with the flow" guarantees you will fail!

As I mentioned in the previous post, it is easy to go with the flow and relatively harder to go against it. It is always like swimming against the current. There is one exception to this rule, and it has to do with spiritual health---I will explain that further in the future.

But except for the one exception, the rule is "swim against the current". Said another way, you'll never accomplish anything without moving outside of the usual flow of your life. This is another way of describing working outside of your "comfort zone".

Swimming against the current looks different in the physical and emotional and financial and spiritual realms.

Swimming against the current physically might mean starting or maintaining an exercise program.

Swimming against the current emotionally might mean learning more effective stress reduction.

Swimming against the current spiritually might mean starting a genuine prayer life.

Swimming against the current financially might mean learning to live within your means or not borrowing money or starting an automated home business.

"Swimming" in all of these spheres increases your health and energy and hope.

Drifting with the current, going with the flow, guarantees failure.

To Be or Not to Be-----Financially Healthy with an Automated Home Business

"To be or not to be, that is the question." This quote from Shakespeare sort of takes us to the next question, "to be what?"

I have noticed over the years that most people tend to "go with the flow". The flow of life is like a river gently flowing along that gradually picks up speed --- the flow for most people is towards ill health and deconditioning of the body.

If you don't want to just be the result of "the flow", you literally have to swim against the current.

If you wait too long, it is like swimming against a very strong current and is much harder to start and longer to notice a difference in your life----but no matter what your age or level of conditioning, you can always start to swim against the current and get health back into your life.

Swimming against the current is MUCH harder than floating downstream. But it isn't necessarily very hard---it's just harder than floating downstream. Key areas to swim upstream are physical health, emotional health, spiritual health and financial health. They all combine together to create the experience of health.

So start swimming up stream. If you need help in any of these areas, let me know. And as always, since this blog is dedicated to the concept, I encourage you to develop an automated home business to improve your financial health.

"That extra $300" and you Automated Home Business

Recently I heard a story that showed what a little extra income can do to change the life of a person or family. The story was about a very poor Nepalese farmer who was able, with some slight change in watering practice, to grow a lot more vegetables out of season which are worth a lot more money than in season.

He took this increased income and continued to plug it back into his 2 acre farm and over the last few years has moved from the bottom of the social heap to the top of the middle class.

It would be analogous to an average family in the US having 300 or 400 more dollars every month that they put to use to help their finances. Done correctly, this extra money can lead to financial freedom.

This amount of money is easily in reach for the average person working part time and building a home based business. Obviously much more can be made and many do, but the point I'm making is that many people feel that they have to be in the "big money" or it's not worth it. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Start your enterprise today and begin to create that extra stream of income, that "Plan B". If you do it with an automated home business you can leverage your time even more efficiently. When money is not a worry, "stress is less".

Have a blessed day

Are Weight Loss and an Automated Home Business Linked?

Today I saw somebody who was feeling a whole lot better after loosing about 20 pounds in 6 weeks. She was using one of our systems that helps people lose the cravings for carbohydrates that raise the blood sugar rapidly. These are called "high glycemic carbs".

This shows an interesting mind-body connection: as the physical issue of eating the wrong kinds of foods was addressed, the emotional issue of "craving" was improved a great deal. She also "felt" better about herself. If she was to spend some time in prayer she would discover that she was less distracted and had more ability to concentrate.

I like the word "wholistic" to describe this interaction of body and mind and spirit. It is a very powerful concept to understand and take advantage of.

Since this blog is designed to emphasize the connection between financial health and overall health I will also remind you that having a steady extra stream of income also helps decrease the stress levels in body and mind and spirit. Remember, the more automated the income, the better. Choose your automated home business wisely.

Lessons in Wholistic Health and amazing Automated Home Business Info

Today I once again discovered the benefit of integrating the spiritual component of health into overall "wholistic" health. The mind-body-spirit connection becomes more obvious as time goes by.

I talked with a person who had buried so much emotional energy, mainly anger and unforgiveness, that it was poisening her system. I taught her a simple prayer that's over 2000 years old and showed her a particular path to peace.

What do you think greater emotional peace does to the health of the body?

What do you think it does to creativity?

I think it is wonderful to see a person completely freed from this kind of emotional garbage.

So I encourage you, my reader, to learn to drop off your garbage and leave it behind.

As always I want you to consider that full health does depend on taking care of the physical needs we have---that means money! (no surprise). So make sure you have your "Plan B" in place. An automated home business is your best home business to have.

Is Your Spiritual Life Really Important to the Success of Your Home Based Business?

About 30 years ago I helped to develop the current model of Wholistic Health. At the time it was considered way out of the mainstream of medicine. In fact our instructors in school then were very much opposed to anything that had to do with the spiritual life.

Since those years we have learned how crucial it is to integrate the spiritual life with what we might call the physical or material life.

People engaged in a home based business often make the mistake of following the gurus of today who teach that you need to keep your whole attention and desire on your physical goal. Nothing could be farther from the truth. While we need to have our focus on all of our goals, we need a true balance to be maintained and a definite desire to build our spiritual life --- it should become part of what makes us very strong as a person and ultimately more successful.

Anybody who really wants to be successful in their life needs to pay attention to and integrate the spiritual or they will find that at the end of the day--- or at the end of your life, you don't discover that you had your ladder leaning against the wrong wall.

Health, Spiritual Care, Financial Health

With the development of modern medicine in the West, the average person has increasingly approached their health with a focus on the physical. I have observed that this compartmentalizaiton of the person has robbed people of their deepest personal resources for healing.
When I was in training I was a part of a group of rebels who insisted that the spiritual approach to health was very important to physical health. That's part of the reason we developed a "wholistic" approach to health.
We now have a much better understanding of how this all fits together and now 30 years later our ideas have become a bit more mainstream. I guess we're not rebels anymore!
Because this blog also focuses on how financial lifestyles integrate into overall health I want to again mention the importance of having a "Plan B" to provide a second and sometimes replacement stream of income.
So, integrate your spiritual life into your physical stuff. And develop a home business---it's good for your health!

Automated Home Business and Whole Person Health

What is the link between financial health and complete health? I see many people every day whose greatest area of stress is lack of money. They feel trapped. They also feel very stressed out. When this is the foundation for a person it is like building a house on sand----you know the story: the storm (of life) will blow it over.

One of the reasons I suggest so strongly an automated home business is because most people need another stream of income. If they had just 200 or 300 more dollars a month it could make all the difference in the world if it was used wisely. And as you know a good automated home business can make much more money than that.

So complete health, or what I call wholistic health, depends on financial health. For most people that means that the best strategy they can do is a home based business. I suggest an automated home business because many of the details needed to be successful in a business are partially or completely fully automated.

Have a blessed day.

Is all Illness REALLY Spiritual?

Yesterday I mentioned that most if not all disease has a spiritual cause. That's a pretty strong statement! Where's the proof? There is no real proof but there is a lot of "evidence" from both western and eastern medicine. In the Chinese world many of the energy healing strategies assume that illness has a spiritual basis. On the western side I can point to a simple connection that many of you will immediately recognize: resentment and unforgiveness as a cause of illness.

Let's look at that some more. If you harbor unforgiveness for somebody, the effect is a little like drinking poisen and hoping that the other guy dies!

That's why True Health HAS to be wholistic. If you want to be healthy, you need to pay attention to not only your body, but your mind and your spirit. They all affect the other.

Have a blessed day

What's Keeping You Back from getting True Health?

What does it take to have long term health? After more than 30 years in the industry, I am sure that it takes a Core Desire to have wholistic health. To be honest with you, most people don't have this or want it. They are focused on short term goals and are captives of the "Tyranny of the Urgent".

Most people don't have a change in this situation until they have a health crisis---either their own or a close family member. All of a sudden their health becomes very important, like if all of the air was suddenly taken out of the room---you would get VERY focused on air.

Even with this awakening most people maintain a superficial approach to health. They pay attention to the physical stuff and ignore the deeper spiritual issues. Did you know that most disease starts as a spiritual issue?

Think about it. I'll share more on this subject later.

Are you Crazy?

Have you lost your head? is a rather unsettling question. Nobody wants to be crazy or perceived to be. Yet in practice we are often doing pretty crazy things especially as it pertains to our health. We mostly use the "denial" card to avoid looking at the things that need to change.

But when you publicly state what you want and then aim at something completely different by your behavior, you're acting a little like someone who has "lost their head".

Don't let hidden wounds and obstacles hold you back. You can do this!

As always I suggest our home business to create a completely automated home business to help deal with the many stresses of life. When it's automated it's better.

Whole Person (wholistic) Health and Home Income

So what is the connection between money and health? Plenty of connection! I have found that when you have a major area of stress in your life it's a little like it might feel if you were suddenly deprived of oxygen. At that moment you would have an all consuming desire to get oxygen and your whole being is focused on getting relief.

Having major financial worries is a bit like being deprived of oxygen-- it can consume you. It can consume you to the point of not being able to do all or any of the things that help you be healthy.

You have 2 choices when it comes to developing a home income. You can do it when you are not in crisis and can gradually integrate the home business into your lifestyle, or you can suddenly experience a crisis and then scramble to create a home income. Which do you think is better?

I vote for the first one. Very few people I know want the stress of suddenly needing more money. I strongly encourage people to create as much automation as possible in their home business because they are trying to integrate it into an already busy lifestyle. In the long run this extra income will likely help you become more healthy because you have the time and energy to focus on healthy activities. So don't delay---create a home income now.

Wholistic Health and Flexibility Exercises

In previous posts I have shown how important it is to use both aerobic and strength training exercises to be healthy. Remember that physical health is only one component of Wholistic Health, and attention to emotional and spiritual health are crucial if you want whole person, or "Wholistic" health.

But that being said, flexibility exercises are the third component of physical muscle health -- this dramatically affects the health of the mind and the spirit. A good flexibility exercise program will take about 20 min at least each day. I have several good resources if you need them.

As I have previously said, one of the most important components of emotional health is freedom from worry. I have found and I recommend that people create at least one more stream of income to provide a "plan B". I strongly suggest an automated home business as the best business you can have for this second stream of income. Stanley Lang---Automated Home Business Mentor

Strength Exercises and Creating Wholistic Health

I used to think that aerobic exercise was crucial to health but strength training was of marginal benefit to most people. When running first became popular it was not uncommon to see runners with big strong legs and skinny thin arms.

With time we understood that athletes really competed better when they spent a lot of time doing both kind of exercises. Now athletes who are runners always have great upper body strength.

Recently we have discovered that the older you are, the MORE you benefit from strength exercises. They help with mood, balance, bone strength, endurance and decrease most of the aches and pains that people have as they get older.

So, here's the deal: EVERYBODY needs to do strength training to be healthy--- no exceptions!

Since the person who is creating an income from home needs to stay healthy and stay on top of their game, I suggest that anybody who is developing an automated home business invest in good time for strength exercise. I recommend an automated home business such as my business at <http://www.automated-home-business.com> for anybody who wants to develop a wholistic approach to wellness. So, Get Going---Get Strong!

Aerobic Exercise and Wholistic Health for You

Everybody knows that exercise is important to health. But did you know that aerobic exercise can save your life?

Years ago a study was published that showed that individuals who walked vigorously 5 days a week decreased their heart attack rates by 44%!!! There is no medication that will do what that simple daily act will do.

Aerobic exercise is crucial for health of body and mind and spirit. That's why I call it important for wholistic health. Not only does the exercise obviously help your body, it helps your mind also. Numerous studies show it's important stress reduction and memory enhancing effects.
Aerobic exercise can actually help people pray better--- in fact for some people the best time they pray is when they do it with aerobic exercise.

I think that aerobic exercise is a great discipline that rubs off on other areas of your life. That's why I suggest that anybody who is developing an automated home business invest in good time for exercise. This dedication to exercise is a foundation for maintaining balance in your life.
http://www.automated-home-business.com

Exercise and Wholistic Health

Today I saw several people who were overall pretty healthy but at the same time I could see that they were in gradual decline. What was missing was any kind of an exercise program. I told each of these people that they absolutely needed exercise.
What person do you know that wakes up and says "I just can't wait to get to the nursing home"? Yet that is how many people live their lives, as if they're planning to be in the nursing home.

"If you don't use it you lose it"----nothing is more true when it comes to exercise.
We need 3 kinds of exercise on a weekly basis to stay or become healthy.
Exercise is a part of a wellness program that includes the need to provide for the body. It is also crucial to remember that a good income allows the time freedom to pursue an exercise program that is ideal. That's why an automated home business is so powerful---it allows you to create the time freedom to do simple things----like exercise!

Health and Wellness and Income

The health and wellness industry has been growing rapidly as all of you know. The driving forces are many. As a professional in this industry I am seeing a gradually increasing desire on the part of people to take control of the details of their lives that affect their health. More and more people are interested in doing everything they can do to be healthy. When I counsel people I find that there is a growing interest and attentiveness to these issues--- a real desire to learn what I know.

At the same time, there is a lot of confusion about what it means to be healthy, especially when you start talking about emotional and spiritual health.

Wholistic health is health of body, mind and spirit at the same time. While more and more people are seeking a proactive approach to their health, still, most people don't really seek health until after they've lost their health. I specialize in helping people not only maintain their health but also to regain their health. I focus on health of body mind and spirit.

The person who enjoys this health has high levels of peace and contentment in his life.
Many people think they can achieve contentment simply by fulfilling their material desires. This is a trap. On the other hand many people who have a spiritual orientation to life are afraid to be wealthy. An automated home business is the best way to have a home income and yet have a balance in life where the material does not overwhelm the spiritual.

I believe that attending to all of these areas, in balance, is needed for the average person living in our hectic society to be healthy. Learning that balance is the key. Obviously to have balance in these areas requires skill and knowledge in all of them. I specialize in helping to integrate all of these areas. You can learn a little more about me and my family at http://www.automated-home-business.com
